The BTG Group was formed over 15 years ago by a group of accountancy and investment professionals. The main administrative operations are provided from Geneva, Switzerland where BTG Trust and Corporate Services SA provides fiduciary and corporate structures. Many of the Group’s clients are based or operate within Sub-Saharan Africa.

In 2013 BTG Trust and Corporate Services (Mauritius) Ltd was established to extend the range of Group services to include fiduciary and corporate structures from the island of Mauritius with its close proximity to Africa and excellent, extensive tax treaty network with many African countries.​​​​​​​
